Co-founders, Nate & Nicki, both born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. They attended grade school together. (No, they weren't dating back then. They didn't even like each other then.)

Nate is an established skater from his youth, while Nicki skated minimally in her younger years. Nate works in technology; Nicki is an artist and designer.

The couple has two adult children who are not skaters. They currently care for three dogs: Oliver (1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog), Arya (11-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog), and Ripley (5-year-old Husky-German Shepherd mix).

They live in San Diego and frequently visit nearby beach areas including Encinitas, La Jolla, and Carlsbad. They enjoy traveling in their RV van.
